Gameschooling

What is Gameschooling?

Gameschooling is gaining more popularity, especially within the homeschool community, and for good reason.  Children are naturally wired to play and their abilities to learn through play, and often best through play, have been thoroughly documented.  Gameschooling takes that knowledge and encourages parents/teachers to be intentional in the selection of tabletop games to inspire and reinforce learning.

Gameschooling is generally used as a supplemental learning resource to enhance interest and understanding of specific educational objectives.

We believe that gameschooling can offer opportunities to foster critical thinking, cooperative play, and development of strategic and abstract reasoning.  We have compiled a detailed list of more than 100 games, divided into age and educational category.
